I just found this app and programmed it for my three horses. It looks like its giving pretty accurate information on blanketing tips, and is a useful tool especially if you were dealing with an inexperienced barn manager. The only complaint or change that I would make is that it is difficult to see the days since they are too light in color. Otherwise, kudos to SmartPak for such a brilliant idea, especially the easy link to purchase another blanket! :-)

I love this app because it is so helpful instead of going outside and having to look at the temperature and trying to decide what to put on my pony I just pull it up and it shows me exactly what blanket to put on and it also shows the weather and why the blanket is recommended I love this app it is the best!

I used this app a while back because it was kind of interesting. Now I cant get the location services to work. Its super annoying.

I loved this app, but it no longer seems to be working. If they provide a fix I would be more than happy to give a 5 star review.

Love love love this app. I plan my barn schedule around it. But it recently stopped working. Fix it!!!!!!!!

I downloaded it thinking it would really help me but as soon as I put in all my info on my horse it kicks me out and makes me restart. DO NOT GET THIS APP!!

Just needs to be deleted & reinstalled to restore normal function!!!

I find that the smartpak app is amazing for the cooler and winter months. I think it would benefit from increasing to pollen warning, fly mask, and a little bit more of a specific blanketing for like a special needs or senior horse.

I used this app all the time last year and loved it. I tried to open it recently and it immediately quits the app. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but it still wont work.

This app is great! I love the advice it gives you. However I really think smartpak needs to add more criteria to the horse aspect. For instance, choices on how sensitive your horse is to the cold, and then something for self care. I have self care with a stall, so my horses arent up or out for a certain time each day. I keep them up in all bad Weather though. Thanks!

I really wanted this to work, but sadly it does not. The app gives conflicting recommendations for the same horse in the same temps from day to day. One day, my body-clipped mare should be in a medium-weight blanket at 48 degrees, and the next its a heavy-weight blanket for the same temps. Its all over the board- if you look at the picture for the app in the App Store, youll notice the recommendations differ for the same temps, there, too! I printed out the "warmth guide" on Schneiders Tack and will have to be content with that until the techies at SmartPak get this app up to speed. I truly hope they do, as it would be a great service if reliable!

When entering my horses info it crashed and wouldnt start up again. Wanted to know if my horse needed to be blanketed. Please fix this Smartpak.

Last year this app worked but this year it doesnt. 30 degrees outside and my show coat horse only needs a sheet.....Im no expert but heck no he needs more warmth than a sheet. Smartpak fit it or take it down. Two thumbs down!!!!!

Even though i love this app, but right now it is not working. And i mean that literally. Nothing is working.

The advice is just not good. For the same temp it will say one weight blanket one day and a different one the next. It also recommends a turnout type blanket to "protect from the elements" but my horse is in the barn at night. Gave up relying on it for any reliable info. Two stars because the interface is nice.

I understand that the weather changes and their recommendations will change with it, but the recommendations are very inconsistent. One day it will tell me to put a rain sheet on my horse and the next day it says a mid-weight with the same temperatures. Now I have to go back to change her blanket because its colder than the app predicted. On top of that, they shouldnt even bother making recommendations for an entire week out, as the weather is not predictable at that point. Save yourself some trouble and make a blanket chart for yourself based on your specific horse. I.e. Mid-weight if under 40 and raining, etc.

This app is an amazing idea and I was very excited about it! But then I started realizing the info is all wrong. Medium fill turnout for an unclipped horse in the daytime when its 70 degrees outside? I think not. I understand the point of the app is to sell blankets...but there are people who will see bad information and do it! Poor, poor horses....cmon SmartPak...fix this or remove it. (But you should totally fix it, its a fantastic idea!)
